Dr. Cassandra Mellish

Dr. Cassandra Mellish has been a dedicated veterinarian since graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2017. Originally from Prince Edward Island, she recently joined Humber Veterinary Hospital full-time in April 2026 after spending the past nine years in Toronto working at a busy emergency and general practice hybrid hospital, including overnight emergency shifts.

Dr. Mellish is skilled in surgery and enjoys working through complex internal medicine cases. She is known for her compassionate approach to patient care and her commitment to helping both pets and their families feel supported throughout their visit.

Her passion for veterinary medicine comes from a love of problem-solving, caring for animals, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them

When she's not in the clinic, Dr. Mellish and her husband enjoy camping, hiking, and taking road trips to new places. At home, she shares her life with her cat, Pokey.
